Coverage varies depending on stone size and installation depth. As a general guideline:
- 1 ton of Class A Rip Rap covers approximately 20–30 square feet at a 4–6 inch depth.
Class A Rip Rap is a heavy-duty erosion control stone designed to protect shorelines, stream banks, drainage channels, slopes, and other areas exposed to water flow and soil erosion. Consisting of large, angular rock pieces, Class A Rip Rap interlocks naturally to create a stable, durable barrier that helps prevent washouts and soil loss while allowing water to pass through.
