Large Scoop- Approx 1 full cubic yard

1 cubic yard weighs approximately 1500lbs. to 3000lbs. depending on moisture level.

Yard Dirt is a general, unprocessed, fill material that can contain a variety of different materials, depending on where it is sourced.

Yard Dirt can contain sand, rocks, clay and stones, and will typically lack the organic material and nutrients found in topsoil.

Common Applications:

-Leveling off land

-Lining/securing ground around retaining walls

-Filling holes/ditches

-Lining/securing ground around foundations

This is not suitable for gardens - for that you would need potting soil, as there's not enough nutrients/compost in Yard Dirt.
